Training Objectives of the Institution

General Objectives

 It shall be the purpose of the College under God and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

     To provide adequate ministerial training. To provide for the development of individual spiritual maturity and to encourage the training of character and the refinement of personality. To provide for the development of spiritual leadership qualities. To provide for practical ministry experience. To stimulate evangelistic and ministerial zeal. To prepare students for a lifetime of continuous growth and fulfillment of God’s call. To strengthen the work of God.

Specific Objectives

 Provide Christian ministerial training

     By teaching biblical knowledge and its practical application. By having Bible-centered curriculum. By having spiritually equipped and academically qualified faculty members. By having adequate facilities and equipment. By teaching methods of effective ministry

 Provide for spiritual maturity, character training and personality refinement

     By providing anointed Chapel services. By scheduling spiritual emphasis meetings each semester. By establishing times for individual “quiet times,” fasting prayers and group devotions. By mentor-modeling of faculty and church pastors/leaders with students. By giving training in and opportunity to practice Christian ethics. By participating in discipleship groups. By requiring respect for authority and submission to College regulations.

 Provide practical ministry experience.

     By assigning meaningful field education ministry within the local church such as Carecell ministry, adult, youth and children ministry, teaching ministry and pioneering ministry. By sponsoring an internship program wherein students minster under the supervision of pastors of local church. By organizing Mission teams or Gospel teams for ministry on weekends and during College breaks when possible.

 Stimulate evangelistic and missionary zeal

     By organizing students’ prayer band and planning and participating in Mission trips and encouraging students to commit financial resources. By scheduling an annual Mission Emphasis Week and conducting special missionary services. By encouraging personal soul-winning.

 Prepare for continuous growth and fulfillment of God’s call

     By equipping with skill in basic methods of research and investigation. By stressing that Bible school training is only introductory to a lifetime of continuous development.

 Strengthen the work of God

     By seeking to provide mature alumni to fill the personnel needs of the churches and the Christian community. By teaching students to contribute financially through proper organizational channels to mission works and workers. By demonstrating the bond of loyalty and co-operation that exists within the fellowship.
